What is a Portal?

A portal is a single integrated point of comprehensive, ubiquitous, and useful access to information, applications, and people. The Samford Information & Business Portal is under constant development and already meets many of these criteria, with plans for enhancements to make the portal even more useful to our visitors.

Who pays for the service?

The MySamford Information & Business Portal is sponsored by The Valley House Bed & Breakfast, with some contribution to the operational costs from platinum businesses advertising on the site.

Who runs MySamford?

The site is owned and maintained by Steve Parry. Steve is well known in the community through his work as a volunteer Samford First Responder, as well as helping run The Valley House Bed & Breakfast. Steve is an ICT consultant with his company, Vidar Consulting Pty Ltd.
